I watch a lot and keep very little. 49 entries so far, every one watched start to finish before it went up.

What gets in

Craft, any subject. A well-made thing about something I know nothing about beats a sloppy one about a subject I love, every time. Is the camera pointed at the right thing, does the edit trust you, are the silences allowed to sit - that's roughly the whole filter.

What doesn't get in: anything built to hold attention rather than to be watched. The recap after every break, the music bed under everything, the payoff that never lands. You know the shape.

This is the part I actually want. Something good that isn't here yet - here's how, and a link is genuinely enough.
