My take on this video
Game theory is something I find very fascinating in general, but seeing such a simple concept and a game apply so incredibly well to both macro- and micro-behaviors of humanity is just..? fascinating?
This video really puts into perspective how simple, but still how complex creatures we are, seemingly.
And more importantly, it's like a tiny guide about the "best" strategy for "life".
Interestingly tho, it shows a major distinction about how people perceive winning. To me, it looked like some participants went for maximizing the floor, ie the worst case scenario. Some went for maximizing the ceiling - the best case scenario. Some, on the other hand, maximized the median - average case scenario. I'm not gonna spoil you about which one won, but it really outlines a relatively big "issue" when trying to optimize your strategy - you don't know which part the other party is maximizing for.
The video also quickly mentions the zero-sum topic, as a throwaway thing, which I believe is a very nice topic to know consciously, not just subconsciously. Worth looking up.
