The Closest Thing We Have to Alien Technology

If you didn't think your phone is one of the most amazing pieces of technology ever, you will.
My take on this video
If you didn't think your phone is one of the most amazing pieces of technology ever, you will.
However, if you thought it was, you will probably realize you were orders of magnitude away from how complex it actually is.
And our ability to hold one in our hands as average Joes is even more absurd.
I don't know how to put it any shorter - the video is borderline at its peak density and still takes an hour to justify its title. I don't think I can give you any accurate information in 2 sentences, but basically, we carve a few nanometer-wide runes into a hyper-clean sand wafer with basically atom-level precision at a commercially viable speed to make a rock think.
I don't know about you, but this amazes me, by a lot. We are creating miniature hypernova explosions 50000 times per second - think about it, comprehend what that means, if that's possible at all - to comprehend that scale with a bare human mind.
